2/2/2010… ClearOne, a company that sells audio conferencing products, is scheduled to showcase several new conferencing products at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe show through Thursday. ISE is a major European business-to-business marketplace for display, projection, audio, conferencing, lighting and staging, digital signage, Internet streaming, and networked presentation and communications systems. HDTV Adoption on the Rise: Report
1/29/2010… Consumers that still watch TV shows and movies on standard-definition cathode ray tubes - the technology inside analog television sets - appear to be in the minority, a new report found. According to a recent study by ORC, close to two-thirds of U.S. households now have a high definition TV, and another 12 percent plan to buy one over the next two years. Based on the numbers and ORC estimates, nearly three out of four households will have an HDTV by 2012.

HD Conference Feature: NetStreams Earns Patent to Stream Audio, Video and Control over IP Networks
1/14/2010… NetStreams, a company recently acquired by ClearOne, an HD conference provider announced it received a patent for its Audio Network Distribution System. The United States Patent Office awarded Patent No. 7,643,894 to NetStreams this month for streaming synchronized time-sensitive audio and video over Local Area Networks. This is the second patent for NetStreams. The firm in 2003 received Patent No. 241405 in Australia is to stream AV over Local Area Networks.

11/11/2009… Building off its recent acquisition of a high definition audio and video over TCP/IP networks company, ClearOne, a Utah-based HD conference manufacturing company, has added a new member to its sales staff. ClearOne named Buzz Goddard as vice president, worldwide residential sales. Goddard's hiring follows ClearOne's acquisition of NetStreams. In his new role, Goddard oversees global responsibility for NetStreams' residential sales, including domestic and international channel partners and manufacturing representatives that are part of NetStreams' global residential market presence.
