Evolve IP Releases Mobile Unified Communications App for Android

Evolve IP has been helping businesses improve employee productivity in the office and on the road with its unified communications (UC) suite; fully integrating voice, video, instant messaging & presence (IM&P), desktop sharing and audio/web conferencing.
UC-One, an extension to the Evolved Office IP Phone (News - Alert) System, delivers a unified experience for end user communication and collaboration in the office and on the road. UC-One combines secure instant messaging and presence, desk and mobile voice communication, video calling, and desktop collaboration into a single application interface that is available on MAC, Windows, iOS and Android (News - Alert) tablets as well as mobile phones.
To offer ease of access to its customers, the company has recently launched its Unified Communications (UC) solution for Android mobile devices on the Google (News - Alert) Play store.
Customers who are subscribed to the UC-One application on Evolve IP's Broadsoft IP Phone platform can now use a variety of features including video and softphone calling via Wi-Fi and cellular networks; secure instant messaging and group chats; phone presence within their business network; phone presence within the business network etc.

Allen said that with the new Evolve IP's UC-one mobile app all associates are present and available, and able to provide the input needed to the right people at the right time. The company plans to unveil this service for Apple (News - Alert) users in the coming weeks.
