Cloud services provider, NeoNova Network Services will deliver Google (News - Alert) Apps to PEAK Internet, a wholesale ISP offering services in Oregon, Idaho and Washington. PEAK plans to roll out Google Apps to its retail customers, in addition to offering broadband and other Internet Services.
PEAK will make Google Apps available to customers in the Pioneer Telephone (News - Alert) Cooperative and CenturyLink exchanges in December, with rollouts to Monroe Telephone Company, Scio Mutual Telephone Association and Stayton Cooperative Telephone Company early next year.
NeoNova is a Premier Reseller of Google Apps as well as a variety of cloud-based products and services. Google Apps have been integrated with the provider's NovaAdmin provisioning platform, which enables multi-tier administration support and customizable branding. The solution also offers parent/child relationships with e-mail, archive capabilities, account deletion and password requirements and single sign-on (SSO) functionality. NeoNova has also developed a suite of customized data migration tools to ease the transition to Google for end users as well as service providers.
Google Apps provides communications and collaboration tools hosted by Google to ease setup and maintenance as well as reduce IT costs. They include Gmail, Google Calendar and integrated IM, enabling users to stay connected and easily collaborate. Google hosts the solution on its multi-tenant infrastructure, enabling fast access, reliability and security and maximum economies of scale.
"We wanted to leverage the potential of the cloud and link this to our regional expansion," said Rick Petersen, CEO of PEAK Internet. "With Google Apps sitting on top of the NeoNova platform, we can easily migrate and manage multiple instances across our service area seamlessly. Our customers are looking for simple-to-use yet best-of-breed solutions, and now they can take advantage of the innovation that Google is constantly adding and have access to the dozens of additional services that Google offers."
"The speed and efficiency with which companies manage and deliver innovative products to their customer base can be the ultimate source of a competitive advantage," said Chris Benyo, VP sales and marketing for NeoNova. "With new devices and the demand for instant access to email and documents, in-house email solutions simply can't keep up with the needs of customers. We're thrilled to be able to work with PEAK Internet to provide its partners and their customers the ability to access and share information from anywhere, on any device."
