While e-mail these days appears to be the preferred method of communication among many businesses, fax is still prevalent.
While technology has help propel traditional fax server applications from their 1990s roots, many companies are behind the times when it comes to upgrading their fax services. It’s like owning and running a 1995 Chevy that never had a tune-up, which is both inefficient and expensive to maintain.
But Tom Linhard, president of FaxCore, Inc., a Denver-based fax server application provider, said he has a plan to change the way companies view today’s FoIP technology. Linhard is asking companies to take a hard look at Faxcore’s 21st century solution with a fourth quarter promotion that provides financial incentives to migrate to FaxCore (News - Alert).
“We have created a page on our site to make it easier for people to contact us regarding this promotion and why companies should make the move to FaxCore,” Linhard said.
In addition, the promotion will leverage Dialogic’s Fax Upgrade Program to offer customers additional incentives to move to Dialogic’s SR140 FoIP solution.
And the FoIP market is expected to grow. A recent report from Davidson Consulting found that FoIP servers will grow dramatically, while conventional fax servers will decline in sales.
With the technology, customers can migrate to a greener option utilizing SR140 FoIP and virtualization. That means customers can upgrade to a faster, easier-to-use solution that also integrates with other 21st century solutions and is also more energy efficient, FaxCore officials said.
