How would it be if you could send and receive faxes whenever you want, wherever you are? It’s easier than you think. For now, Apple (News - Alert) users can send, sign, print and even receive faxes directly from their mobile devices.
And what will make this possible is the latest iOS app from eFax, which will reportedly make the process of faxing much less taxing. The app is said to be an offshoot of customer demand for anytime, anywhere faxing.
Of course what also triggered the new iOS app is that more than three million iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad devices were sold during the devices’ launch weekend in November 2012.
"These devices are driving increased productivity in the office, on the road, and at home," said Kyle Flowers, marketing director at j2 Global (News - Alert). "Enhancements to the eFax iOS app ensure that users can send and receive important faxes whenever and wherever duty calls, such as signing a contract from a cab, sending an invoice from a hotel room, or approving an expense report from the couch.”
eFax, a brand of j2 Global, is a pioneer in the fax business and remains an important communications tool for over 11 million subscribers worldwide, as well as companies of all sizes.
In addition to being able to fax any e-mail attachment or document stored in the cloud in any form, the app also allows users to print on the go with AirPrint-enabled printers using Wi-Fi. Just as well, all eFax contacts can be managed directly from the home screen itself.
iPhone (News - Alert) 5 and the new iPad mini users will find that they need not squint their eyes when viewing their faxes, as the updated app uses the enhanced screen size to great advantage.
The iPhone app for eFax can be downloaded on iTunes.
eFax, a company specializing in online fax services since 1996 and a brand of j2 Inc., announced that its online fax service meets the business needs of on-the-go real estate professionals and provides them the ability to send, receive and manage faxes from anywhere.
