Fax Over IP

If there’s one message to take away about the Fax over IP industry, it’s that fax technology is still strong and it isn’t going away anytime soon.

 

That’s the core message industry experts plan to drive home during a session today

at TMC’s (News - Alert) ITEXPO East 2010. The session, called “Integrating Fax into Your Enterprise UC Experience,” will cover why fax remains an important part of a true UC deployment, how it can be better integrated into IP systems, and why the technology isn’t going away. 

 

The session tales place at 3 p.m. at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

 

Whether companies are using fax communications out of habit, or for record-keeping purposes, the fact is that many businesses still heavily on the technology as part of their daily business operations. But users need a specific service to help them fulfill their business needs.

 

Max Schroeder (News - Alert), senior vice president of FaxCore, Chem Cohen, chief technology officer of FaxSIPit, Sebastien Lalonde, senior R&D leader for Sagem-Interstar (News - Alert) and Mike Oliszewski, chief technology officer of FaxBack, will be part of the panel.

 

During a recent interview, Schroeder told TMCnet that 'for markets like health care, financial services, insurance and legal services fax is indispensable due to regulatory and legal constrictions.
