The analysis showed that faxing was much less expensive that using the postal service. Basically, a two- to three-page document only cost pennies and a mailed document could be as much as a $1 when factoring in processing postage. Plus, fax has the added benefit of providing proof of delivery. The ROI was excellent and we will not revert to using the postal service.”

 

If we put this into today’s perspective, phone minute costs have decreased in the past 10 to 15 years and postal costs have risen considerably, so the ROI today is much better than the previous decade.
