Fax servers first came to prominence in the 1990s. But many fax server applications today are stalled in that very decade. Customers that have deployed these products are still using last century’s tools and have not embraced 21st century technologies.
It’s similar to owning and running a 1995 Chevy that never had a tune-up, which is both inefficient and expensive to maintain.
But Tom Linhard, president of FaxCore, Inc., a Denver-based fax server application provider, wants to change that habit. Linhard is encouraging companies to take a serious look at Faxcore’s 21st century solution. The company announced a fourth quarter promotion to provide financial incentives for customers to migrate to FaxCore (News - Alert).
“We have created a page on our site to make it easier for people to contact us regarding this promotion and why companies should make the move to FaxCore,” Linhard said.
The promotion will also leverage Dialogic’s Fax Upgrade Program to provide additional incentives for customers, including the small - and medium-sized business segment - to move to Dialogic’s SR140 FoIP solution.
A bonus with the program is that customers can migrate to a greener solution utilizing SR140 FoIP and virtualization. That means customers can upgrade to a faster, easier-to-use solution that also integrates with other 21st century solutions and one that is also more energy efficient, company officials said.
