FaxCore's "Free Lunch" Program, Trade-in and Trade-up

By Tim Gray, TMCnet Web Editor

As the global economy continues to slip into a deeper worldwide malaise, many companies are making the decision to put off any big technology buys until things turn around.

The one hitch here is: this makes them vulnerable to competitors that moved forward despite the economy and update their systems. However, there is an answer now for both camps as FaxCore (News - Alert) has developed a plan to help companies acquire True 21st Century fax technology and get an ROI in less than one year depending on their current product and maintenance costs.

Max Schroeder (News - Alert), senior vice president at FaxCore, says a key factor with legacy technology is the maintenance. As maintenance cost rises with age because, much like with an automobile, parts tend to wear out. As age becomes more of a factor, some components are hard to find plus finding a person skilled in their repair becomes more difficult.

“That enterprises currently examining their budget for their fax server systems are discovering that switching to the FaxCore solution results in net savings when maintenance costs and the license costs for upgrading to newly available features are taken into consideration,” Schroeder recently told TMCnet.

According to Schroeder, legacy versions support 3rd party products that may have become obsolete. Support technicians may not have worked with some older versions and, therefore, have to take additional time to handle support calls. Annual maintenance fees escalate.

The purchase price for FaxCore is much lower than most competing products which is reflected in lower annual support and maintenance costs. In addition, features include Fax Over IP.

“A primary reason is the fact that the FaxCore Server License includes many features that are extra cost options for many legacy systems,” said Schroeder.

The FaxCore Trade-in / Trade-up program also incorporates the Dialogic/Brooktrout (News - Alert) Fall Upgrade Program.

Another reason to trade-in legacy technology is to take advantage of newer 3rd party products. FaxCore comes with a built-in, easy-to-use Web Services/SOA software development kit for customization. Because the platform is built on a Microsoft (News - Alert) .NET Framework, it is has native integration with SharePoint, according to the company.  It also supports all versions of Exchange without requiring a connector on the Exchange Server. SQL reporting tools are another benefit.

Because today’s market is so competitive, it makes business sense to take advantage of any “Free Lunch”.   Trading-in / Trading-up to FaxCore may not be completely free but it may be the closest you will come to a Free Lunch into today’s market.

Perhaps the most important business justification for switching to a different fax solution is not saving today but saving tomorrow. Click here to connect to the FaxCore Trade-in Information Form and determine how much you can save by Trading-in / Trading-up to FaxCore.
