Quadrant Software Announces Customer Trade-Up Program

By Anamika Singh, TMCnet Contributor

Quadrant Software, a provider of  Document Output Management (DOM), announced the launch of its first annual Customer Trade-Up Program. It will run through June 15, 2012. The Customer Trade-Up program allows current Quadrant FastFax customer to migrate from its existing hardware/software to its new QuadraDocV, virtual fax over IP (FoIP) solution.

QuadraDocV is Quadrant Software’s cutting-edge, patented IP fax server solution supporting the standardized and robust T.38 Fax over IP protocol.

QuadraDocV, powered by FastFax, runs on the industry standard VMware platform, offering advantage of virtualized environments, simplifying infrastructure and minimize their overall carbon footprint. It uses the SR140 software technology from the communications vendor, Dialogic (News - Alert), to integrate with customers' current telephony systems. There is no requirement of a physical fax card, and is deployed in the VMware environment.

QuadraDocV is the only virtual FoIP product native to the IBM (News - Alert) i (AS400/System i). Additionally, QuadraDocV allows snap-in integration to all Quadrant products, including Formtastic.

“There are many inherent benefits to moving to a virtual infrastructure,” commented Steve Woodard, CEO of Quadrant Software.

With the release of QuadraDocV we've enabled our customers to reduce their carbon footprint even further by removing yet another 'box' from their datacenter. The Customer Trade-Up program is our way of encouraging our customers to take advantage of the many benefits of virtualization, including cost and power savings and better server utilization. In return, the environment benefits both from decreased consumption and our commitment to a greener planet,” Woodard continued.

Migrating to QuadraDocV include scalability from one to hundreds of fax ports, the improvement of disaster recovery abilities, management of virtual machines through VMware's tools, and with the advantage of the VoIP infrastructure.

The company has also decided that customers participating in Trade-Up program will get a credit when upgrading to QuadraDocV or a double trade-in discount when upgrading the existing FastFax hardware. For a greener tomorrow, the returned hard drives will be recycled and for each upgrade, Quadrant Software will plant a tree in a recreational area.

Document Output Management (DOM) solutions streamline operations in a business environment where speed and reliability are paramount. Used in a variety of industries, the company’s products empower companies to create, manage, and distribute mission-critical documents electronically.
