Patton Earns ISO 9001:2008 CertificationTMCnet Contributor
Patton, which designs, manufactures and sells data communications products, announced the company has achieved certification of the latest ISO 9001:2008 standard for quality management systems. ISO -ertified since 1996, Patton (News - Alert) manufactures business and carrier-class VoIP, network access, connectivity and video-surveillance equipment. Made in the United States at Patton's Maryland headquarters, the high-quality, low-cost network equipment blends innovative engineering with cost-reduced product design and high-quality American manufacturing, the company said.
The audit was conducted by Intertek Group, which is accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board, the company said. The agency registered Patton's quality management system as fully compliant with the ISO 9001:2008 standard.
"It's a high bar," Robert R. Patton, president of Patton Electronics, said, "but we cleared it."
