Patton-Inalp Networks AG has joined the creator of IntraSwitch VoIP application software, Centile (News - Alert), to provide integrated unified communications, or "UC," solutions for large enterprises.
The interoperability between the VoIP application software and Patton’s (News - Alert) SmartNode VoIP gateways is expected to increase rapid deployment and build on the gateways performance for large companies transitioning to next-generation UC networks.
“The troubleshooting has all been done,” said Ramon Felder, president of Patton-Inalp, “so it works right out of the box. Our seamless solutions are up-and-running today in real-world business networks. Companies can choose Patton and Centile with confidence.”
In fact, the compatibility has already been field tested – the pair recently deployed converged-IP solutions for French firewall provider Arkoon’s newly commissioned offices in Paris and Lyon, as well as the AttijariWafa Bank with sites located in throughout France.
“Extensive SIP interoperability—proven in the field—enables Centile and Patton-Inalp to deliver enhanced integrated solutions to enterprises,” said Bertrand Pourcelot, managing director of Centile.
In addition, the applications provide a high-precision clock that eliminates common interoperability failures with DECT (News - Alert), PBX and FAX communications when VoIP is deployed in the context of ISDN systems.
“When deployed with Centile IP Telephony solutions, the powerful call-routing and first-rate ISDN capabilities of Patton-Inalp products deliver best-of-breed enterprise communications,” said Pourcelot.
IntraSwitch provides such IP-PBX (News - Alert) and UC functionality as conferencing, hunt groups, presence, and find-me-follow-me.
SmartNode gateway-routers have been geared to complement IntraSwitch functions with SIP-based call routing and a UC Agent that provides path switching for seamless integration with existing Telco networks and ISDN PBX systems.
“Centile appreciates such responsive partners as Patton-Inalp who provides excellent support, consistent distribution channels and very aggressive product line pricing,” said Pourcelot. "This is the combination Centile customers are looking for.”
The specialized design of first-line stability and reliability, SmartNode delivers voice quality comparable to ISDN, while rich ISDN features allow users to use legacy handsets and PBX functions exactly as they are accustomed.
Patton is also stimulating analog VoIP markets with recent price cuts on SmartNode FXS gateways.
