Ethernet Extender: The Benefits of Ethernet Services
By Charles West
TMCnet Web Editor
When it comes to running a business, access to information is very important. Companies around the world greatly depend on the reliability of Ethernet services that allow them the flexibility of obtaining access to needed information. The good old days of filing away information with the use of cabinets or shelves are being done away by computers that make it easy to store, manage, retrieve and transmit information. Besides giving increased efficiency to businesses, computers save companies’ money and time; no more piles of paper or filing cabinets cluttering your office space. Sharing information is simple with Ethernet, all you need is a network of two or more computers together to establish a connection directly or an indirectly via a ethernet extender; which enables you to send and receive information from another computer. There are two broad groups—Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN). Charles West is a Web Editor for TMCnet. Prior to joining TMC (News - Alert) Charles worked with many gadget oriented sites that included running his own blog (TheTrendaholic.com) and Smartphone column for examiner.com.
