Creanord Announces it has Cleared Ethernet Backhaul Management Barrier

Creanord, an enabler of mobile backhaul with Ethernet performance monitoring and reporting for carriers and service providers, announced that it has cleared the Ethernet backhaul management barrier.

Base station backhaul plays a significant role when analyzing mobile operator's operational expenditure. They note the backhaul is becoming increasingly important to manage. New base station and carrier technologies increase the number of possible backhaul scenarios. Managed Ethernet backhaul with solid service level guarantees is the one that stands out when considering the options.

According to company officials, the need for speed is materializing and most of the service providers are geared towards increasing network capacity while reducing backhaul expenditure.

With poorly managed environment both end user experience and return of investment are far from ideal. By implementing Managed Ethernet Backhaul with ITU Y.1731 standard Performance Management and automated Service Level Agreement (SLA) assurance these concerns are under control.

It's possible; Creanord officials say Windows-based management software just isn't capable of heavy lifting that is required when receiving important telemetry data from a large network. Or it simply falls short already in the turn-up phase, as manually-created measurement configurations that worked fine in the lab are operationally impossible in real-world dimensions.

In other Ethernet extender news, Netgear (News - Alert), a networking solutions provider announced its latest training program focusing on managed switches, storage, managed wireless and home product solutions. Labeled Smart IT, the program will be conducted in several cities spanning from Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, New Delhi and Kolkata. The program will train new Netgear partners, as well as existing partners for next-gen technologies.
