Patton Joins with Partners to Promote VoIP Buyback Program at ITEXPO East

Patton (News - Alert) is joining with some key partners – ABP Technology, VoipStore and Elastix – to promote a VoIP buyback offer during ITEXPO East in Miami Beach, Fla. During the trade show, now underway, the company will also highlight its SmartNode VoIP equipment and distribute coupons that give free VoIP technical training leading to a certification, the company announced.

The VoIP buyback program offers cash rebates when VoIP gateways, routers and Integrated Access Devices (IADs) from other manufacturers are replaced with SmartNode products.

During ITEXPO, attendees can meet representatives from Patton and ABP Technology in Booth 322, Booth 701 for VoiPStore, and Booth 1009 for Elastix (News - Alert).

VoipStore has produced a series of video tutorials on Patton’s SmartNode 4960 PRI IAD and SmartNode 4110 Analog FXS/FXO gateway in joint solutions with 3CX.

Patton said it recently added EHCP certification, for interoperability with Elastix’ iPBX, to the list of Patton-certified SmartNode technology partners.

In 2010, Patton collaborated with ABP (News - Alert) on the distributors’ IPSizzles tour and in trade shows where they promoted SIP trunking solutions that bundled SmartNode with Patton-certified solutions, such as Broadvox, Asterisk (News - Alert) and 3CX.

ABP features an enterprise-class SIP trunking package with SmartNode gateways integrated with traditional and/or IP PBXs.

“We call it VoIP Ready,” Sean Gerrity, Patton’s regional director for North America and Japan, said in a company statement. “It is a compelling concept. As strategic partners, ABP and Patton provide a pre-configured system combining Broadvox SIP trunks and SmartNode VoIP gateways. It’s fully-tested and delivers proven interoperability.”

Positive comments on Patton have been appearing in blog posts.

Tony Graziano wrote in his blog, “What gateway should I use?” He answers, “When I have a choice, I choose Patton.”

And Matt Landis recently wrote on a blog post, “I am a long-time fan of Patton gateways because [they] just seem to work… it's not only me... the whole Windows PBX (News - Alert) community prefers Patton PSTN gateways over the alternatives according to my Feb 2010 survey.”
