By Brian Solomon

Vista-powered homes in the UK will finally get a taste of Extenders for Media Center, allowing them to stream live TV as well as movies, photos and music to multiple sets.
Using a standard Ethernet connections and LinkSys box, they’lll be able to get up to six streams of data, whether in XviD, Avi or DivX format. There's support for up to four tuners, which can be connected via USB. Hi-def movies can also be streamed from a PC.
There are two boxes to choose from: the DMA 2200 with DVD drive and one without, and the DMA 2100. Both feature HDMI, dual-band Wireless N, with a SCART socket in the DMA 2200.
