Patton Unveils Real-Time Security and Surveillance Package

In a partnership with VCORE and QTAGS, Patton, a provider of business and carrier-class network access, connectivity, VoIP and mobile video-surveillance equipment is offering real-time situational awareness and security packages to its customers.

The unified system, dubbed Total Fusion, transforms mobile-borne assets into "eyes" whose view is displayed in a real-time virtualization by streaming live video, audio and global positioning over a standard 3G/4G (or private) wireless network. The three-party system enables governments, industry and business to save lives, protect critical infrastructure and preserve valuable assets as it offers modern tools for deterring crime and fighting terrorism.

Patton (News - Alert) is building on its expertise in integrated network access, transmission, IP and Frame Relay technologies. The company also has expertise in the development of right-priced products to simplify access to the global network.

“Recognizing a threat can make all the difference,” said Burton A. Patton, executive VP at Patton Electronics, in a press release. “When an incident unfolds in moments, seemingly benign events can quickly evolve into a nightmare, become enveloped in a fog of confusion. By providing multiple channels to observe, assess, and respond, the joint capabilities of total fusion can combat potentially dangerous events before they occur.”

Incorporating VCORE’s fourDscape four-dimensional browser and Qtags’ GuestAssist SMS/Web-based notification platform; Patton’s Visuality Mobile Video Surveillance products is a fully-integrated solution.

With digital audio and global positioning, plus local data recording and storage, Patton’s Visuality delivers real-time streaming video from up to four mobile cameras. Visuality encrypts and securely transmits live situational awareness data to command and control over a standard cellular network.

Recently, the company announced that it was extending its well-received promotion on remote access server equipment through the end of this year. This continues Patton’s 20 percent discount on its DialFire Remote Access Servers.

Patton’s 24-page Remote Access Product Guide features a wide selection of U.S.-made remote access solutions including POTS/analog (v.90, V.92, V.44, K56Flex, V.34+) and digital (ISDN) solutions for industry, enterprises, carrier-providers, retail and hospitality.
