The world of enterprise communications is constantly evolving, not only from the innovations side, but also in demand exhibited by today’s users. Staying connected is not enough; professionals want real-time access across multiple channels and seamless collaboration opportunities regardless of location.

This includes access for the telecommuter who works from home but needs to interact with staff in-house. The executive who spends a lot of time visiting remote locations can access the documents and applications needed easily through remote channels. The busy corporate environment can leverage one interface for all communications when the unified approach is made a priority.

To talk about what’s happening in the enterprise communications space, Tadiran’s (News - Alert) Mike Long visited with TMCnet’s Paula Bernier at ITEXPO. The communications solutions company has been in business for more than 50 years and last year released the Aeonix product line. This year, Tadiran introduced version 2.2 of the unified communications solution, designed to consolidate disparate applications so software licensing can be acquired based on needed applications.

Tadiran also has partners in 41 countries, 20 million customers and millions of in-points all over the world. Its latest boost is winning a new GSA (News - Alert) contract, a relationship the company has enjoyed for a number of years. With this resigning of the GSA, current government customers can upgrade to Aeonix products and enjoy the latest capabilities and the efficiencies they enable.

Tadiran has also signed a new distribution agreement, soon to be announced officially, which will help represent Tadiran throughout North America, working with customers and partners to support the existing solution while also enabling customers to install and migrate to Aeonix. While Tadiran has distributors in Latin America, this will be the company’s first major distribution agreement recently in the U.S.

These announcements are important for those who want access to the latest in enterprise communications. Users within government offices will have access to unified communications technologies that expand their reach while providing a lower cost of operation and a more efficient way to stay connected.

Likewise, corporate environments can gain access to the capabilities they need to stay ahead of the competition and still support their collaboration effort. As proactive customer care is the name of the game, enterprise communications have to keep pace. Tadiran aims to make this a reality for companies and organizations throughout the world.
