ThinkTel (News - Alert) has partnered with AudioCodes to complete a stringent ITSP Interoperability Acceptance Test Plan, the company has announced. The company made use of AudioCodes Enterprise Session Border Controllers (E-SBC) product family and its MetaSwitch (News - Alert) CFS 7.4 for this purpose.

ThinkTel is the first and only Canadian company independently qualified to SIP Trunk to Microsoft Lync. ThinkTel is Canada's sole Lync Certified SIP service provider and currently supports over 100 Canadian Lync and Office Communications Server customers through our SIP services and Hosted Lync offerings and is a valued Microsoft Partner since 2008.

The certification was awarded to the AudioCodes (News - Alert) Mediant E-SBC product family with ThinkTel's SIP Trunking solution. This includes four E-SBC hardware-based platforms created for companies of any size, from small businesses and branch offices to big companies data centers and contact center facilities. To meet the needs of Canada's leading enterprises, ThinkTel works closely with the Microsoft (News - Alert) team and Lync Ecosystem Partners, the company stated in a press release.

The Professional Services comes with proof of concept, planning and deployment services, and advanced session initiation protocol (SIP) Trunking configuration.
