AudioCodes (News - Alert), a provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and Voice Network products, today announced that MediaMind, a provider of digital advertising solutions that coincide with the use of media, creative and data for enhanced campaign performance, has selected AudioCodes' products to allow for the transition to a new Unified Communications system, which will be based on Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync.

MediaMind will have its 16 sites that are located in 12 countries implement the AudioCodes' VoIP platform, including Mediant Survivable Branch Appliances, SPS (SIP Phone (News - Alert) Support), 300HD IP Phones, and the AudioCodes Enterprise Mobility solution, a press release stated.

"As we service the largest advertisers globally, our choice of a Unified Communications (News - Alert) system was taken very seriously," said Efi Cohen, vice president of technology, MediaMind. "We evaluated a number of potential suppliers, and learned that the combination of Microsoft and AudioCodes offers us the best match for our needs. AudioCodes products enable us to make the best out of the Microsoft UC environment, by integrating it seamlessly with the PSTN, desktop IP Phones and mobile devices.”

"MediaMind is paving the way to an innovative global UC deployment that truly brings enhanced collaboration tools to its employees with the Microsoft UC solution," said Nimrod Borovsky, vice president of marketing at AudioCodes. "The new survivability functionality built into the Lync environment that is enabled by our Survivable Branch Appliances, and the expanded choices of affordable and versatile end devices such as our 300HD IP Phones and VMAS Enterprise Edition clients, make Lync ready for prime time with any size enterprise."

This week has been a busy one for AudioCodes as just yesterday the company announced the launch of MobilityPLUS, which is an enterprise solution that will help to enhance existing Enterprise Telephony and Unified Communications systems features that now include a diverse range of leading smartphone platforms.
