Database-driven survey data collection allows businesses to collect as well as access information that is required in the field. This reduces paper work and increases productivity. Instead of a simple one-way data submission, a two-way access to survey data from a centralized database to view feedback anytime anywhere is like icing on the cake.
Cashing in on this fact, Flowfinity Wireless Inc., a provider of enterprise mobile applications, announced a new mobile survey software solution for businesses.
According to Flowfinity, the new solution facilitates businesses to create and deploy mobile surveys quickly for offline data collection and submission to a centralized database.
With the availability of database-driven survey data collection on smartphones and tablets along with the company’s survey customization and integration features, businesses will be able to improve productivity through better management of information collected in the field.
Available in as a fully cloud-hosted or on-premises deployed solution, Flowfinity’s new mobile survey software helps in capturing the survey data from anywhere, even in locations without network coverage such as job sites, retail store stock rooms, or manufacturing plants.
According to Flowfinity, the feedback submitted in real time to the database provides businesses with actionable insights that help in improving efficiency and identify issues that require immediate attention.
In addition, the information stored in the database such as survey results, locations, or customer data can also be retrieved on mobile devices too.
Furthermore, the mobile surveys configured using a point-and-click web-based editor can include dynamic fields such as checklists, drop-down menus, photos, signature capture, and GPS locations.
Based on user permissions during creation of a new survey, surveys can be immediately published to different user groups. While, conditional field visibility facilitates users to be guided through the survey form based on previous answers.
"Flowfinity helps businesses collect and access the information they need in the field, so that they can eliminate inefficient paper and spreadsheet processes," said Larry Wilson, vice president of sales and marketing, Flowfinity, in a statement. "While many mobile survey solutions offer simple one-way data submission, Flowfinity provides two-way access to survey data from a centralized database, allowing feedback to be viewed or submitted anytime, anywhere."
