The Irish Software Association (ISA) has conferred the Partnership award to FeedHenry (News - Alert), whose successful association with Telefónica has been recognized by ISA. FeedHenry and Telefónica have been carrying out several high-profile and large-scale mobile enterprise projects.
In a statement, Paul Gower, head of Business Consulting, Telefónica/O2 (News - Alert) said, “Our ‘Joined Up Business’ program focuses on offering business customers a comprehensive enterprise mobility solution based on next-generation platform technology that is open, cloud-based and scalable. The partnership with FeedHenry boosts the value we can deliver to organizations, helping them accelerate their mobile initiatives and offer new integrated services to their customers, partners and employees.”
FeedHenry has also unveiled a Technology Spotlight paper specifically written by IDC (News - Alert). Operators, who nearly control the mobile ecosystem, are aiming for a larger responsibility in the provision of mobile apps for large enterprise and small and medium-sized businesses. Operators can easily succeed in this endeavor by implementing pioneering cloud and mobile technologies through well-calculated associations.
The Technology Paper, "Cloud meets Mobile: Key Success Factors for Mobile Operators and their Enterprise Clients," written by Stephen Drake (News - Alert), senior analyst at IDC, can be downloaded here.
Cathal McGloin (News - Alert), CEO at FeedHenry said, "The emergence of smartphones, tablets and mobile apps, combined with the increasing adoption of cloud computing is redefining how businesses operate. Faced with new challenges and opportunities, organizations often seek advice from their incumbent mobile service provider. Mobile operators are well positioned to make a big play to enterprise customers through delivering business-critical mobility solutions.”
“The success of our partnership with Telefónica, the honor of the Irish business awards and the launch of the new technology paper place FeedHenry at the core of this exciting trend," McGloin added.
According to Drake, nearly 66 percent of the companies intend to or have already implemented a mobile cloud solution. As per latest IDC information, majority of mobile enterprise developers intend to connect mobile apps to a public or private cloud service.
Mobile operators are not surprised by the intersection of mobile and cloud. Operators can deliver convincing solutions that can be developed and implemented in a simpler and rapid manner by advantageously using the revolutionary mobile cloud offerings.
