The Fax Guys, a company providing fax over IP services for business users, is celebrating its fourteenth anniversary with great news. Despite the economic downturn, the company, which specializes in helping clients securely transmit documents in a cost effective, reliable way, has experienced record revenue figures in 2011 – and is showing no signs of slowing down.
Even with the Internet and mobile technology replacing outdated services today, fax remains the only way to confirm transmissions, handle large files, and dispense audit trails.
Industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, financial services and transportation rely heavily on fax over IP services – with the market for servers projected to grow at 10.9 percent CAGR to $360 million in 2016, according to Davidson Consulting.
As part of their success, the company has installed more than 700 RightFax fax servers around the country. Rightfax helps clients send, receive, and manage documents securely and efficiently from their desktop, email, and other applications.
“Contrary to popular belief, faxing is not dead; it remains a critical element for each of our clients’ operations,” said Greg Osterdyk, chief fax guy at The Fax Guys. “Faxing is still the fastest, cheapest, and most secure method of sending documents. Plus, you always know when a fax goes through. Unlike email, faxes don’t get blocked by spam filters or plagued with Internet problems.”
This year, The Fax Guys secured their reputation by earning a spot in Minnesota Business’, “100 Best Companies to Work for” competition. The company also introduced its FaxPing service, a tool that monitors and tests fax systems automatically.
