As the direct inward dialing market continues to expand, casting a wider net beyond the traditional PSTN space by providing the ability to connect SIP, instant messengers and social community portals, more and more companies are dialing up the service.

 

While DID provider DIDx.net has been integrated with Voipswitch software for several years, recently both companies completed work on enhancing the compatibility by adding new features supported in the new DIDx API. 

 

The API is designed according to pre-selected categories, automated purchase, and automated provision of DID among DIDX buyer, DIDX, and DIDX seller in an online marketplace model, according to the company.

 

Voipswitch’s users are now able to order the phone numbers online from more than 90 nations worldwide, and decide how many channels are needed. In addition, they now can select a particular phone number from the available pool of numbers.

 

The DIDX platform, operated by Super Technologies, enables users to sell and/or to purchase the DID phone numbers of any nation in the world. In 2005, with the launch of the company’s many international services, Super Technologies saw the need for an international provider or exchange of DID number. There was none. Thus, DIDX was created.

Rehan Ahmed, CEO of Super Technologies, Inc., said the Voipswitch IP-PBX enables corporate clients with a PBX account to add extensions for sub-accounts. The administrator can order phone numbers from around the world with the desired number of channels.
