TouchStar Sells Assets to Noble Systems

By Kelly McGuire, TMCnet Editor

TouchStar Software Corporation announced that Noble Systems Corporation, a contact center technology solutions company, acquired various TouchStar (News - Alert) assets, including its brand and all intellectual property.

The acquisition further expands TouchStar’s resource base, in that TouchStar users will be able to reap the benefits of Noble’s contact center technologies.

Noble acquired TouchStar’s premise-based business line, which includes all of TouchStar’s brands and products, which will be utilized in Noble’s small-to-medium business market.

In regards to the acquisition, Noble’s President and CEO, James K. Noble Jr. said that the company is working progressively towards improving customer satisfaction during these tough economic times, and that now it the time to have a technology partner that is financially sound.

“We hope to be that partner for the TouchStar clients,” said Noble, adding that acquiring the assets allows Noble to be an industry leader in contact technology and collections.

Noble also said that the company plans to introduce TouchStar clients to a suite of advanced technologies including Workforce Management, Desktop Unification and unified contact technology, including the company’s trademark SIPhony IT-ready solution.

“We look forward to providing them with the best-in-class solutions and services that an organization of Noble’s experience and expertise can deliver,” said Noble.

TouchStar’s brand is more than well known in the telecom industries, which gives Noble an opportunity to share the similar footprint TouchStar has molded into this booming industry.
With the acquisition, Noble will bring on board key staff from TouchStar’s development and service delivery teams.

In addition, Noble will keep an office in Denver, and will work quickly to provide TouchStar clients with superior services and solutions.

In other related TouchStar news, earlier this year the company released version 6.0 of its call center platform, which is available on both a hosted and on-premises basis, which enhanced Touchstar’s core applications – something Noble benefits from in this acquisition.
