Even as data center resource consumption approaches critical levels, executives everywhere are looking for ways to slash costs without sacrificing uptime or reliability. It’s a conundrum vexing the business as a whole, but there are answers available.
As such, data center power consumption and monitoring will be one of the most important issues at this year’s AFCOM’S Data Center World 2014. The event takes place April 28 through May 2, at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
Attendees will find the most extensive, end-user driven educational program available anywhere in the industry, either as a broad overview of topics or a deep dive into a specific areas of interest, with topics covering data center management, facilities management, emerging technologies, disaster recovery, and colocation.
Each educational session at the show is designed to have an immediate impact in any company’s data center and is carefully screened to ensure a vendor-neutral environment. No other conference provides the Data Center World level of educational quality.
Attendees at this year’s Data Center World are encouraged to stop by Booth 706 to visit with Server Technology (News - Alert), providers of advanced data center monitoring and distribution solutions. Server Tech offers a full spectrum of options for businesses of all sizes, such as outlet and environmental monitoring, branch circuit protection and input-current monitoring.
At the show itself, Server Technology Director of Engineering and Product Management Travis Irons will join Regional Sales Manager Mark Hoffert for a detailed Product Information Session of power solutions and strategies.
The presentation, titled “Understanding High Power Density and Rack PDU Solutions,” will feature Server Technology’s High Density PDU, which was recently nominated by DCS as “product of the year.” The presentation takes place the second day of the show, on Tuesday, April 29, from 3-4 p.m. in the Barbados A&B rooms.
