The trade show season is charging forward at full speed and for one company there is no better time than now to be hitting the road, as the company has a plethora of good news to share with the industry.
This week, Server Technology (News - Alert) – a data center power distribution company – is headed to Orlando, Fla., for the 2012 BICSI (News - Alert) Winter Conference & Exhibition, a conference that features educational presentations, state-of-the-art exhibits and networking opportunities. Last fall, Server Technology headed to the BICSI fall conference in Vegas.
“The BICSI shows target a slightly different group than most of the shows we participate in, but a very important target audience for us,” Julie Brown, marketing manager for Server Technology, told TMCnet. “BICSI attendees are the engineers, consultants, architects and cablers involved in data center build-outs and new data center construction, as well as telecommunications operations. It’s important for us to interact with this audience at a time when they’re making data center power decisions and specing power distribution and power management and monitoring products and solutions.”
Server Technology has been providing some of the biggest companies in the world with power management solutions for the past 25 years.
At the event, Server Technology will be displaying its full line of the latest intelligent cabinet power distribution units (CDUs), or PDUs as well as spread the news about some of its most recent announcements. Some of Server Technology’s most exciting moments include being selected by the US Department of Defense (DOD) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) to provide data center power distribution units (PDUs) and power monitoring and management software for JITC’s Washington Operations Division lab testing facilities in Indian Head, Md.; being named to CRN's 2012 Data Center 100 list for its intelligent cabinet PDUs; and releasing a variety of new products.
“It’s been an exciting year of innovation for Server Technology,” Brown said. “We released almost 300 new products in 2011 and we’re certainly on pace to do that again in 2012. We’ve received such great response to our PDUs with Per Inlet Power Sensing (PIPS) and Per Outlet Power Sensing (POPS) features.”
“Customers want that very granular degree of accuracy that those PDUs provide,” she added. “Also, we just recently released our ‘reinvented’ Sentry Power Manager power monitoring and management solution – giving it tremendous new functionality and a world class user interface.”
In addition to shedding light on its recent news, Server Technology is looking forward to interacting with other attendees and discussing new data center projects and how Server Technology can provide solutions.
“We also want to hear the new topics and issues the BICSI attendees are facing today regarding power management, energy efficiency and green initiatives – as it relates to data centers and telecommunications operations,” Brown added.
So what else can we expect from Server Technology as 2012 continues to unfold?
“More innovative new products!” Brown said. “We're committed to providing leading edge products and solutions for data centers and telecommunications operations and continue to lead the industry in new PDU technology.”
