InsideSales.com Unveils 'Click-to-Call for Salesforce' Compatible with All Major Platforms

Click-to-Call for Salesforce, according to company officials, “solves outbound dialing and inbound call handling capabilities on Windows, Mac and Linux Operating Systems, while using Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.” Users can now make outbound calls and inbound calls directly from salesforce.com on all these platforms.
InsideSales.com had already developed this solution for a while ago, but cross-platform compatibility was an issue when using salesforce.com.
“Our goal was to emphasize ease and simplicity for sales professionals of all kinds, and across platforms,” said Dave Elkington, CEO of InsideSales.com, in a statement. “Now whether an inside or outside rep, or a lead generation rep, agents can be much more productive on any major personal computer platform or Web browser, and we are the only vendor that provides this."
Click-to-Call for Salesforce features a one-click voice messaging, a single login entry point, inbound-outbound blending, recording and monitoring, call transfer, and real time call data into native Salesforce CRM reports and analytics. The solution creates a powerful, synergistic set of tools for sales people.
"We have had discussions with AppExchange vendors who have struggled with the computer telephony integration (CTI (News - Alert)) limitations of the Salesforce CRM platform," said Thomas Purdy, director of Product Development, in a statement.
"The Click-to-Call and PowerDialer for Salesforce solutions create huge leverage for our clients, and the enthusiasm and confidence they've expressed as a result are testaments to the power, simplicity, and elegance of the product," Purdy added.
Back in May, InsideSales.com announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with Web site conversion and optimization experts SiteTuners (News - Alert). Under the terms of the partnership, InsideSales.com will integrate its award-winning dialer and telephony technologies with SiteTuners’ proprietary TuningEngine split and multivariate testing tool.
