Symphonic Source's DupeCatcher to Help Accelerate Market Shift to Customer Service Software

Symphonic Source, a provider of data management tools and services, claimed that it launched DupeCatcher on Salesforce.com’s (News - Alert) AppExchange 2 with the intention to help accelerate the market shift to cloud 2, the next cloud computing paradigm.


DupeCatcher is claimed to be integrated with major cloud-based CRM service, to provide data integration and lead and contact deduplication, ensuring data quality to Salesforce users. Designed as a complementary utility for Salesforce, DupeCatcher can identify, block, and remove duplicate records in real time. 

DupeCatcher enables real time Salesforce deduplication of leads, accounts, and contacts at the point of entry. Merge data into a single record, preventing the creation of new duplicates and maintaining established data quality standards. Update current Salesforce records and create new ones only when needed. Retain full control of the identification and merging process, eliminating any fear of loss while cleansing data. 

DupeCatcher's initial release is designed to identify and block duplicate leads, duplicate accounts, and duplicate contacts as they are manually entered into a Salesforce database. Based on user-defined matching fields, DupeCatcher leaves full control of the lead deduplication process with the user through its filters and rules engine. Data remains secure without unintended loss. DupeCatcher even enables Salesforce administrators to run reports on how often rules are triggered. 

A product manager for DupeCatcher claimed that they know firsthand the pain of dealing with a database full of duplicate leads, as Salesforce users themselves. Based on their own experience, and what they have heard from customers, they knew there was a need for an easy-to-use deduplication solution. Salesforce is the leading CRM today, and they are excited to have DupeCatcher listed on the AppExchange, where it can be quickly and easily accessed by users.
