Dirigo Telecommunications Awarded 'Best SMB Solution' at ITEXPO East 2007

Just a month after announcing a corporate name change to better reflect their company's position in the market for SMB solutions, Dirigo Telecommunications is taking home a 'Best in Show' award based on their participation at the INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and Expo EAST. The company was recognized as the "Best SMB Solution."
 
Dirigosoft, a provider of customer interaction management solutions for small and medium-sized businesses announced last month they were changing their name to Dirigo Telecommunications Inc. to better reflect the companies bid to provide SMBs with, "customer contact offerings that are intelligent and adaptable—without being cost prohibitive," Bill Hunt, president and COO of Dirigo Telecommunications commented.
 
At the show, Dirigo Telecommunications previewed their Intelligent Assistant, a part of their iQueue offering which offers a call routing system featuring a rules-based engine to ensure all calls are handled properly.
 
Bill Hunt took some time while at the show to speak with TMC (News - Alert) president and group editor-in-chief Rich Tehrani and explained the advantage of their offering,
 
"Well if you wanted a customer service quality check, you could offer the chance for a caller to take a survey after the call is hung up. Why? Third party call control recaptures the call and sends it to a survey application.
 
It also means their solution has the reporting capabilities of an ACD. Not just CDR but averaged calls to answer, and the ability to know how long calls are in voicemail before they are listened to, etc."
 
Dirigo iQueue combines PBX and ACD for small and medium-sized businesses with a customer contact offering that provides enhanced and cost efficient customer service and offers businesses options for communicating with customers regardless of their location.
  
Winners displayed and demonstrated their products on the shows exhibit floor where a panel of judges reviewed and interviewed companies on their offerings. Winners were chosen for their forward-looking feature sets and their products contribution to future development of the industry.
 
"These companies are pioneers and their products represent the cream of the crop in VoIP solutions. As the event grows, selecting Best in Show winners each year becomes more and more difficult as the solutions displayed on the exhibit floor become more and more impressive," Rich Tehrani also commented.
