Conferencing has become an increasingly popular solution for businesses looking to tap into the cost savings and benefits offered by efficient communications. Along with the cost savings of conference calling however, users are also coming to demand services that are easy to use, and readily available.

In an announcement made today, Echelon Telecom Inc., provider of integrated communication services to small and medium sized businesses in the Western United States, and InterCall, a subsidiary of West Corporation and provider of conferencing solutions, introduced Conference Connect.

The new Conference Connect audio conferencing service provides users with the ability to hold a conference call with up to 125 participants by only dialing a toll free number and entering a conference code to be connected.

Their collaboration on the offering provides a conferencing service that is both easy to use and saves time and money. By removing the need for an operator, or reservation to hold conferences, Conference Connect offers businesses audio conferencing capabilities that are unique and appealing.

"The demand for conference calling continues to grow and we think the power and simplicity of Conference Connect will be well received. This is just another example of applications we provide to our customers that help them in their businesses," commented Mark Pfeffer, Product Manager, Eschelon, in a statement to the press.

Just last week, Eschellon made news when they announced the completed acquisition of Mountain Telecommunications, a provider of services in the Arizona market.
