TMC CRM Week in Review

By Juliana Kenny, TMCnet Web Editor

This week witnessed some interesting developments in the customer relationship management sector, not the least of which is the ongoing discussion of CRM in the cloud.

TMC’s (News - Alert) David Sims discussed this very subject in an article about Somnet Dynagraphics, a firm which uses a private cloud build with open soruce. Sims reported that Shantanu Som, director-technical, Somnet Dynagraphics, told Information Week that “our sales people can now load data in CRM from anywhere, which entirely runs on cloud. Our support engineers get support tickets via SMS on their mobile while on the move, bettering their response time and increasing customer satisfaction.”

We also saw developments in the lead management software industry with the release of lead management software for the assisted living sector. SeniorServicesLeads.com has issued a lead management software program that is specifically designed to help those in the assisted living field manage their leads. With technology that maximizes the benefits of lead interaction and processing, the company’s solution also aims to relieve sales staff of the burden shared by needing to keep track of potential clients.

On the more call-based side of CRM, the industry recently witnessed awards including ISI (News - Alert) Telemanagement’s recognition as a 2010 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award winner by Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC).

The solution combines all the latest and most up-to-date call accounting and telecom technology to help businesses streamline their telecom cost management and customer relationship processes.
