Entellium Updates Flagship CRM Solutions

CRM software provider Entellium today announced the availability of its Simplicity Release 2008, a new version of the company’s flagship CRM suite, Entellium eSalesForce and eCustomerCenter. The Simplicity Release 2008 is available immediately to all Entellium customers at no added cost.

 
The most prominent new feature in this release, according to the company, is Lead Duplicate Checker, a feature designed specifically to eliminate duplicate leads, which is considered one of the greatest inefficiencies of sales and marketing teams. According to SmartMarketers.com, up to 80 percent of marketing-generated sales leads are lost, ignored or discarded because of mismanagement, which leads to wasted time and lost opportunities.
 
“For most small businesses, duplicates will account for between 11 and 15 percent of all leads,” said Paul Johnston, Entellium president and CEO. "A company spending about $2 million annually on leads is actually throwing away about $300,000 each year, and that does not include the cost of wasted time spent on contacting the inactive or cold lead. We have taken that pain away for our customers and at no added cost.”
 
Based on feedback from sales and marketing professionals, the new additions to Simplicity Release 2008 come from combining features like Lead Duplicate Checker with Real Time Lead Alerts in order to make every aspect of lead-management faster and easier than ever. The goal was to create a solution that can help small businesses spend less time on things that take away from their bottom line.
 
Lead Duplicate Checker was added to help spare sales reps the time and frustration of pursuing leads that have already been checked out. They can cross-check new leads against existing data and decide which to eliminate and which to re-route, a process known in the CRM industry as “de-duping.” The feature cross-checks leads added manually, imported lists, or leads captured live from a Web form.  
 
The Real Time Lead Alerts feature allows sales professionals to communicate in real-time with hot leads, increasing the chances that those leads will convert and close. For example, visitors who return to a Web site to download a new piece of collateral can be tracked and sales reps are notified immediately, enabling them to speak to prospects while they are uppermost in their mind.
