SDL, a provider of customer experience management solutions, announced its new partnership with Acrolinx to optimize content quality for better customer experiences.
The partnership aims to leverage SDL LiveContent to deliver more effective content across all relevant touchpoints of a customer’s journey, hoping to transform call centers to meet the requirements of modern customers.
Acrolinx’s content optimization software is built on a linguistic analytics engine. Acrolinx automates the process of checking for issues that range from simple spelling and grammar errors to problems with readability, style, and tone of voice. Acrolinx also delivers powerful analytics to assess quality trends, understand usage, and pinpoint areas for improvement. The software enables companies such as Adobe, Dell, Cisco (News - Alert), IBM, Philips, and Siemens to make their content easier to comprehend, cheaper to translate, and easier to find, the company said.
The integration of Acrolinx’s content optimization technology and SDL LiveContent will provide businesses with the tools to author, review and publish consistent, high-quality content ranging from training materials to support articles to technical documentation.
As a result, SDL said, companies can get the maximum value from their product content while improving the overall customer experience.
Jan Jaap Kolleman, CEO, SDL Content Management Technologies division, said, “This partnership allows us to deliver the tools to content owners, SMEs, and tech writers to help them create content that’s more readable, consistent, and engaging, which helps to position their brands more favorably in the marketplace.”
More importantly the partnership benefits their mutual customers. Acrolinx and SDL already serve a number of joint customers, including, GE Healthcare, McAfee (News - Alert), Autodesk and Yokogawa.
“Because of their focus on delivering great content in support of a great customer experience, SDL Content Management Technologies is a terrific match for us – not just because we see the world the same way, but more importantly because our customers crave the combination of products from both companies,” said Andrew Bredenkamp, founder and president of Acrolinx.
