A provider of mobile workforce management solutions, ViryaNet (News - Alert) Limited has said that it recently held ViryaVision 2013, its annual customer conference, in Florida.
The opening keynote address was given by Memy Ish-Shalom, president and CEO at ViryaNet. He offered his insights on the mobile revolution and predicted that mobile will change how people work.
“We think more companies will migrate to new concepts and new technologies in mobile earlier than they currently envision,” Ish-Shalom said, adding that embracing this trend, ViryaNet will provide more and more capabilities in native mobile apps.
At the conference, a Performance Management session was organized. The participants were provided an opportunity to learn creation of a performance management practice to measure and monitor the right key performance indicators (KPIs), to enable aligning of mobile workforce management process with business objectives as well as help field service organizations meet business goals.
“Consolidated Communications (News - Alert) is on the verge of implementing performance management, so it's exciting to confirm the benefits we'll receive from our KPIs and dashboards,” said Amy Moran, project manager at Consolidated Communications.
Moran believes that the new performance management practice will allow the company to meet its customer expectations and provide superior customer service.
Additionally, ViryaNet customers and partners also took a “test drive” of ViryaNet’s voice-enabled native field application, ViryaNet G4 Field Application, using their mobile devices. Company officials said that leveraging the features of mobile devices, this application ensures that the field workforce remains on plan -- whether on the road or at the worksite.
The company also showcased new capabilities to support the complex scheduling and planning of work into the mid-term and long-term horizon. Plus, it also demonstrated how the ViryaNet Performance Management Framework can be used to help analyze the planning tool output.
“It was fun to see the enthusiasm during the test drive of the new ViryaNet G4 Field Application,” said Jim Robidoux, vice president of customer care at ViryaNet.
The company also received positive feedback on Capacity Planning, Dispatch, and Performance Management, he said, adding that these innovations are part of the company’s ongoing commitment to empower customers to reach their business goals with ViryaNet.
