Tone Software (News - Alert) Corporation, an Avaya DevConnect technology partner, has announced that its ReliaTel VoIP and UC management solution has been declared compliant with Avaya’s (News - Alert) key messaging solutions.
Tone Software Corporation is an Anaheim, California- based high technology software development firm specializing in global business, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure management solution. Its ReliaTel VoIP and UC management solution has been developed as a vendor agnostic solution to manage both VoIP call quality and the underlying converged network infrastructure in a holistic manner. Through a a unified management portal, the solution provides network and IT support teams to rapidly and accurately pinpoint issues effecting network quality performance occurring at every segment across the converged environment. By unifying multi-vendor VoIP QoS and converged network management in one solution, ReliaTel allows the organizations to cost effectively manage the quality, capacity and service levels of the critical communications systems that drive their business.
The ReliaTel VoIP is now compliant with: Avaya Modular Messaging 5.2. The compliance testing enables mutual clients of both the companies to confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure. This is expected to speed up deployment of new applications for the businesses. The interoperability is also likely to help reduce both network complexity and installation costs, Tone Software explained in a press release
The successful compliance testing allows ReliaTel to use the SNMP interfaces from the Avaya Modular Messaging system (Avaya Messaging Storage Server (MSS) and Avaya Messaging Application Server), to provide alarm monitoring.
“Technology partners like Tone Software are helping Avaya offer customers a broad selection of interoperable, standards-based communications solutions. As a result, companies can confidently build their communications infrastructure to fit their business today, knowing that their investments will continue to deliver ROI as they evolve and progress,” vice president of developer relations at Avaya Eric Rossman (News - Alert) explained in a statement.
Earlier this year, Tone Software announced that it has received high overall scores in a recent Past Performance Evaluation (PPE) from Open Ratings, a division of Dun & Bradstreet (News - Alert). The PPE score is based on survey feedback of verified client references that share experiences and opinions on Tone's performance across several categories. The results are compiled to produce a comprehensive supplier performance report, in which Tone Software received an overall score of 94 out of a possible 100.
