ePlus, a provider of IT infrastructure and supply chain technology solutions,  announced that its subsidiary, ePlus Technology has acquired the operating business of VantiCore, a Cisco (News - Alert)-focused unified communications and contact center software provider headquartered in New Hampshire.

The company did not provide the financial details of the transaction.

VantiCore focuses on Advanced Unified Communications (News - Alert) and Collaboration Solutions, with a specialization in Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX). The company offers managed services and a Virtual CIO consulting service to enhance its strategic value to its customers. 

The acquisition is expected to expand the collaboration and managed services offerings of ePlus, according to company officials.

ePlus’ strong market presence in New England, combined with its enhanced Cisco engineering delivery capabilities to complement its existing UC, Data Center, and Managed Services practices will support this goal, they added.

Further, VantiCore's expertise with Cisco Unified Collaboration, Contact Center solutions, and Managed Services will complement ePlus’ existing suite of integrated offerings and top Cisco certifications.  The joint expertise will enable the companies to provide the highest level of service their customers in Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.

A Cisco Gold Certified Partner, ePlus has achieved Cisco Master Specializations in Security and Unified Communications as well as the Cisco Managed Services Master Certification. The company also holds Cisco Specializations in Advanced Routing and Switching, Advanced Data Center Storage Networking, Advanced Data Center Networking Infrastructure, Advanced Wireless LAN, and Cisco Authorized Unified Meetingplace Partner as well as Cisco ATP (News - Alert) designations in Cisco TelePresence Video Master, Video Surveillance, and Data Center Unified.
