Contact Center Outsourcing Provider Sitel to Hire 150 Customer Care Associates in Texas

Contact center outsourcing provider Sitel is expanding its customer care call center in San Angelo, Texas. The company this time plans to hire 150 agents to support its expanding client base specifically in financial, energy and natural nutrition markets. The newly hired San Angelo associates will provide inbound customer support.


Sitel currently employs 57,000 professionals worldwide, and the company’s solutions span 120+ domestic, nearshore, and offshore centers in 25 countries across North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific.

"This expansion within the San Angelo call center is a direct result of our commitment to exceed our client expectations by providing outstanding customer service. These positions will begin the first week of October," said Grant Tilley, site director of Sitel's San Angelo facility, in a statement.

"It is really exciting to see Sitel continue to grow within this vibrant community and to offer both entry level positions as well as opportunities to career path across a global business operating in more than 120 centers around the world,” Tilley added.

The contact center outsourcing provider has contracted Texas Workforce Solutions to assist in recruitment process. Both companies are hosting a job fair on October 4, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at its facility located at 2702 West Loop 306.

Sitel recently announced it is also adding a new business to its call center in Albuquerque, N.M. As part of this expansion, the contact center outsourcing provider is hiring about 150 employees to support a new retail client known for its global philanthropic efforts.

In another similar announcement, the company further revealed its plans to expand its customer care call center in the city of Glasgow, KY. Sitel will expand its Glasgow call center regarding the technical assistance team with the addition of 100 new associates. The recruitment procedure is expected to be over by October, the company said.
