Konftel 300: The Conference Phone of the Future

By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor

A new conference phone that promises to provide all the latest high-tech features needed to improve communications has been launched by Konftel.

The new Konftel 300 boasts enhanced features like the ability to record meetings, connect a wireless headset, and other innovative capabilities.

Peter Renkel, Konftel’s CEO explained, “Our goal was to create the world’s best conference phone."

“Our research shows that phone meetings will increase in the future because they save time, money, and the environment, but we also know that many users are demanding more from their conference phones.”

With this in mind, Konftel developed the new phone to meet user demands for features including improved sound and the ability to make multi-party calls.

“We’ve made the Konftel 300 future proof. New functions will be developed regularly and will be downloadable from our website,” Renkel also commented.

As the importance of call recording increases, the Konftel 300 offers the ability to record and play back meetings and supports SD memory cards so sound files can be emailed or played back.

Also, the phone makes it easier to dial numbers and set up conference calls thanks to a conference guide. The conference guide also makes it easy to set up re-occurring phone meetings, as it can store up to 20 groups.

To meet the demands of today's mobile workforce, the phone also includes the ability to be connected to cell phone, wireless phone and to a computer via a USB port. Also, a line selector makes it easy to switch and combine connection methods.

The new conference phone also offers improved conference calls in large meeting rooms. Included with the phone is an upgraded version of Konftel's OmniSound technology for communications with powerful sound and without disruption.

The Konftel 300 was made available in Europe on November 26 and will be available in North America on December 17.
