ViDOFON AG, a service provider of conference call and telepresence solutions, announced its alliance with Masergy, a provider of virtualized network services, to strengthen ViDOFON’s service offerings to its enterprise customers.

By leveraging Masergy’s global MPLS network, ViDOFON customers can ensure that they are receiving the most flexible and reliable conference call service possible.

Masergy’s services platform ensures global site-to-site quality of service performance for video traffic. It also includes hosted network management with monitoring and reporting capabilities embedded in the network. Customers will have enhanced Telepresence (News - Alert)/HD videoconferencing performance with greater visibility and control for clients.

The global MPLS services platform from Masergy is built to support real-time converged business applications. With the alliance, ViDOFON can offer video services that are supported by a network platform. The platform is designed for high-quality real-time application performance.

In September 2010, Masergy and Verrex, a provider of global systems design, installation and managed services of conferencing and communication technologies, announced their alliance to offer videoconferencing solutions over Masergy’s native IP MPLS network.
