ZTE Corporation, a global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions has recognized Mindspeed Technologies (News - Alert), Inc., a premier supplier of semiconductor solutions for network infrastructure applications, as the 'Best Global Partner' for 2009.

At the annual partner event in Shenzhen, ZTE (News - Alert) presented this award to Mindspeed Technologies.

A number of Mindspeed's products including Mindspeed's Comcerto family of carrier infrastructure voice processors, as well as its analog crosspoint switches and inverse multiplexing for asynchronous transfer mode products, are supplied to ZTE.

Mindspeed's Transcede family of highly integrated baseband devices for 3G/4G/long-term evolution basestations is being evaluated by ZTE. The products of Mindspeed are used across ZTE's broad portfolio of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, which the company delivers to over 500 operators in more than 140 countries.
