Dialing and messaging technology developer IAT celebrated its 26th anniversary this month. The Utah-based company attributes its continued presence in the industry to a continued “focus on collection-specific technology, dedicated employees, and loyal customers.”
Founded in 1986 by Scott and Kent Sorensen, IAT has spent two decades advancing predictive dialing and IVR messaging technologies for use in the collections industry. The company noted that its range of products have expanded to include a variety of other tools aimed at call center operations. These include call recording, cell phone number scrubbing and disaster recovery/risk management capability, all of which are of crucial importance to call center operators serving any industry.
“We don’t create something generic and then market it to a collections audience,” Ray Fowler, IAT director of Sales & Marketing, commented in a statement announcing the company’s anniverary. “Every product we develop is created with the collection industry in mind. We rely on our customers’ feedback and our industry experience to create feature-sets that maximize debt collection productivity and efficiency, while keeping compliance in mind. Plus, we make our products flexible so they can be tailored to fit the needs of every collection agency.”
In addition to predictive dialing technology, IAT offers hosted, site-premised and hybrid dialing solutions. The company notes that a large percentage of its customers have been using IAT products for more than a decade. A number of customers have been employing IAT solutions ever since the company’s first year of operation.
“In today’s business world, it is extremely difficult to find a profitable organization 26 years in business that can boast laser-sharp industry focus, leading-edge products, industry-leading customers and caring and dedicated employees,” said Dave Rudd, IAT co-owner and senior vice president of Finance & Administration, in the company statement. “It is an honor for IAT SmartDial to be a member of the ARM (News - Alert) Industry and to work with fantastic clients.”
From its West Jordan, Utah location, IAT delivers predictive dialing and other call center related products to both the North American and overseas markets. The company provides collection companies a comprehensive CT Center product, scalable to large operations, which includes a predictive dialing and IVR messaging on-site solution.
