MERA Systems Rebrands with ALOE Systems

By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor

MERA Systems (News - Alert), a developer of softswitch solutions for IP networks and information security systems for governmental sector, has announced the commencement of the rebranding move under ALOE Systems brand name.

The company also announced a new slogan “A Loyalty to Excellence,” saying that it reflects the company’s technological maturity. The product line of MERA Systems -- MVTS I, MVTS Pro, MVTS II, MERA IP Centrex and RTU -- and also a brand name “NetBeholder,” will become the registered trademarks of ALOE Systems.

The brand renovation reflects the company’s new identity as a “highly” competitive player of constantly developing VoIP market; said company officials.

Under the “ALOE Systems” brand name, the company expects to expand the market share providing high performance solutions for efficient VoIP traffic management over the networks of key telecom market players.

Company officials said that the new brand name was selected to celebrate the “best-of-breed” qualities of the company. The brand name “ALOE” embodies the company’s focus on a robust combination of constant innovations and a loyalty to excellence.

With this brand name, company officials believe that the company is “ideally” positioned to equip large-scale carriers with innovative and comprehensive software solutions that enable constant growth and efficient operation of their networks.

“We do believe, the new brand name will better reflect the company’s growth as we streamline our company to focus on bigger market segment where we’ll be able to equip carriers’ networks with high-performance solutions and enjoy competitive advantage with a loyalty to excellence,” said Konstantin Nikashov, CEO at MERA Systems.

As of August 1, 2010, MERA Systems name was dropped from commercial use worldwide.

Earlier this year, the company announced that its Class 4/5 VoIP transit softswitches are fully interoperable with AudioCodes’ (News - Alert) MediaPack and Mediant series VoIP gateways.
