- Alert) Inc. announced the launch of a revolutionary new time clock, the Kronos InTouch, which will enhance the way organizations think about, and employees interact with, their workforce management solutions.
In a release Aron Ain, chief executive officer of Kronos said, “More than 30 years ago, Kronos introduced the first automated time clock and forever changed the way millions of people work each day. Today, with the introduction of InTouch, we are changing the game all over again. We are incredibly excited to bring this transformative new technology to organizations around the world who want to revolutionize the way they manage their workforce.”
It was revealed that this time clock is built for a modern workforce. InTouch is based on five guiding principles including unrivaled user experience. Older time clocks use physical buttons, small displays, and fixed menus, but InTouch synergizes hardware technology and a user interface to deliver optimum user experience.
Also it features a color touch screen, graphical interface, and language hot keys that personalize offerings resulting in faster employee adoption and increased productivity.
The seamless integration features robust self-service capabilities in InTouch helps employees to check accrual balances, request time off, and view schedules all in real-time, ensuring the complete usage of an organization’s existing workforce management solution.
Officials said that InTouch can be configured to prevent punching outside scheduled start and stop times and can provide an attestation solution for employees to sign off on the accuracy of their timecard. This protects against wage and hour lawsuits.
InTouch time clock is built for the cloud and it works securely and easily over the Internet and through firewalls. These devices can securely communicate with a private cloud provided by Kronos cloud services or with an existing enterprise cloud.
InTouch devices are administrated, monitored, and controlled centrally ensuring secure Web-based management of data collection anytime. Users will be able to record their time, check vacation days, or touch a call assistance option to dial a predefined telephone support number. They can ask questions via a built-in microphone and speaker, explained officials.
Kronos specializes in workforce management solutions that enable organizations to control labor costs, minimize compliance risk, and improve workforce productivity. Many organizations leverage Kronos time and attendance, scheduling, absence management, HR and payroll, hiring, and labor analytics applications.
Recently at KronosWorks, Ain announced that Kronos InTouch joins Kronos’ award-winning Navigator user interface and mobile applications to usher in a new generation of workforce management solutions that embrace the ease of use and intuitiveness of consumer-centric technologies.
