NICE SmartCenter Achieves VMware Ready Status

NICE Systems, a major player of intent-based solutions that extract insight to impact business performance, reduce financial risk and ensure safety and security, has announced that NICE SmartCenter solutions have achieved VMware Ready status.


Officials with NICE Systems (News - Alert) said that this designation indicates that NICE has passed a detailed evaluation and testing process managed by VMware and is now listed on the VMware Partner Product Catalog.

Passing the extensive VMware-specified testing helps ensure that NICE SmartCenter makes best use of VMware technology and is ready for deployment in customer environments.

"We are pleased that NICE SmartCenter qualifies for the VMware Ready logo, signifying to customers that it has passed specific VMware testing and interoperability criteria and is ready to run in production environments," said Bernie Mills, senior director, alliance programs of Vmware (News - Alert), in a statement.

"Virtualization is transforming the way datacenters are deployed and managed, and NICE customers have already deployed our solutions in a virtual environment”, said Alon Biran, vice president of product management.

Biran said that the company is excited about expanding its relationship with VMware to help advance the virtualization revolution and all of its benefits.

He said that NICE is fully aligned with the roadmap of the virtualization industry and is committed to remaining on the leading edge of virtualization.

The VMware Ready program is a VMware co-branding program for qualified partner products and is a benefit of the VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program. With more than 1,600 members worldwide, the VMware TAP program works with best-of-breed technology partners to provide them a comprehensive set of VMware technical and marketing services, support, tools and expertise to deliver enhanced value to joint customers.

Company officials said that the NICE Enterprise offering addresses the needs of customer-centric businesses with intent-based solutions that optimize Customer Dynamics. Driven by real-time, cross-channel analytics, NICE provides solutions for increasing revenue, enhancing customer experience, improving regulatory compliance, and optimizing contact center and back office operations.

NICE Enterprise solutions are implemented by contact centers of all sizes, branches, trading floors and back offices.
