TMC (News - Alert) recently had the opportunity to sit down with King White, president of Site Selection Group, a full-service location advisory firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
Site Selections is driven with the economic consumer in mind, serving as the back office for call centers by providing an optimum workforce solution. The company also offers tech support for inbound customer care.
Coincidentally, Site Selection Group recently made the announcement of a merger with Business Economic Incentives, an economic incentives firm based out of Austin, Texas, to expand its offerings and meet the need for the demand of growth in the industry.
The decision came as an easy one as both companies have significant share in the market and together will build a bigger, more recognizable brand.
“Business Economic Incentives is passionate about the same thing we are—building a best-in-class location advisory platform around our customers’ needs,” stated White. “By combining our resources, we can now bring a more comprehensive economic incentive platform to our customers around the world.”
Site Selection offers four core services to its customers including location advisory, economic incentive services, real estate services and economic development consulting. The company prides itself in its ability to maximize the efficiencies of location decisions for corporations in a variety of industries.
In the short term, expect the launch of Site Selection’s newest version of the company’s workforce supply and demand forecast software that will enable customers to predict the labor supply and demand up to 20 years into the future. Site Selection’s technology will also be able to identify call center employment as well as what kind of applicants using its fully integrated model.
According to White, in the future, Site Selections hopes to move further into the diversification of the call center market, being that it is a core business of the company’s. White aspires to use the company’s customized approach to target industries and move rapidly into a broad range of economic consumer services.
