Moxie Software Upgrades Social Knowledgebase Application

Moxie Software announced the launch of the upgraded version of its proprietary Social Knowledgebase application to include more dynamic features for its Collaboration Spaces, a key part of Social Knowledgebase. The new version is designed to enable users to dynamically create, edit and submit content for publishing to Knowledge Spaces, the knowledge repository for the larger application. Collaboration Spaces’ features are aimed to enable businesses to consolidate the shared knowledge of their staff to enhance customer service capabilities.


In a release, Tom Kelly, president and CEO of Moxie Software, said “Social Knowledge allows enterprises to crowdsource the collective intelligence of their employees to deliver real value to customers by getting them the right answers faster. Moxie's Social Knowledgebase turns your enterprise into a powerful answer engine by connecting customer questions to answers often hidden right in front of you within your organization.”

Social Knowledgebase enables employees to select and upload content from the shared databases to the knowledge workflow. This enables businesses to eliminate the gap between the contact center and information holders, by providing easy access to the knowledge database for contact center agents. This allows organizations to deliver quality customer care to match the expectations of socially-connected customers.

Speaking of the upgraded version of Moxie Software’s Social Knowledgebase, Esteban Kolsky, Principal and Founder of ThinkJar said, “Organizations understand that the source of the answer lies within Subject Matter Experts, and their use of the product or service. This is marking a shift in knowledge from Knowledge-in-Storage (KiS) to Knowledge-in-Use (KiU), the beginning of social knowledge.”

The new features include Live Edit, which allows for the documents to be edited directly in the database, eliminating the need to download, edit and then upload the document back into the database. The upgraded version also supports drag and drop options to directly upload a file into Collaboration Spaces. In addition, the “Feature tours” capability provides automatic walkthrough of all the application’s functionalities, eliminating the need for special trainings for users.
