Specialized Industries Turn to RCCSP's Call Center Manager Certification for Edge
Diagnostic Imaging, Financial, Construction, and Technology Companies Earn RCCSP Certification in 2011
Arie de Geus, former head of Shell’s strategic planning group, once said that “the ability to learn faster than your competitors may be the only sustainable competitive advantage.” While product innovations continue being an important factor in a company’s competitiveness strategy, most agree that comprehensive training and career development can cultivate the highly-skilled workforce needed to keep a competitive edge.
Knowing how to provide exceptional service to customers is what separates the best from the rest. And for most companies, customer interactions start at the call center level. This is why more and more companies are turning to RCCSP’s call center training and call center certification programs.
“The number of contact center leaders pursuing certification has been steadily growing,” reports Nina Kawalek, CEO for the RCCSP Professional Education Alliance. “With more and more certified managers leading the charge, call centers are better equipped to face challenges and to implement the proper improvement strategies”.
The Certified Call Center Manager (CCCM) designation is the fastest growing contact center industry certification in the US, with hundreds of credentialed professionals and candidates from all industries entering the RCCSP program each year. Companies from the diagnostic imaging, financial, construction, and technology industries are amongst the most recent RCCSP Call Center Manager Certification recipients. This includes: American Imaging Management, United Acceptance Inc., Dufferin Concrete, and Virtual Hold Technology (News - Alert).
“With our investment in this education, we hope to be able to analyze and relate to the contact center demographic we cater to. Also, this certificate should help foster a rapport with clients we may not have had previously,” says Kenn Mann, Business Analyst for Virtual Hold Technology.
Thomas Kunze, from American Imaging Management, agrees on the value and impact of the certification course. His company brought together contact center leaders from three national locations to participate in the CCCM certification process simultaneously. "We established a common set of vocabulary,” reflects Kunze. “Lessons learned will be applied to areas where improvements can be realized. The certification program has great content and application of best practices."
