VoltDelta 'Excited' about Enhancements to Dialogic's MSP 1010 Multi-Services Platform

When it comes time for selecting a provider of hosted call center solutions, it’s important to consider the underlying technology each vendor is using to deliver its software.

Those vendors which have invested in cutting edge “best of breed” hardware and network infrastructure tend to be better positioned to deliver excellent service quality and reliability – especially compared to those providers which have slowed their network investments due to the downturn in the economy. What’s more, only those vendors which have invested in the latest technologies can deliver the most advanced features and capabilities to their customers.

Hosted call center solutions provider VoltDelta is one such vendor. At the core of VoltDelta’s OASIS hosted call center solution is partner Dialogic’s (News - Alert) MSP 1010 Multi-Services Platform. Dialogic recently announced that it has added a suite of new high-availability and manageability capabilities to the platform – a move which has already earned praise from VoltDelta (News - Alert) International’s director of strategic marketing, James Glasspool.
 
"Volt Delta is very excited about the expanded range of high-availability features on Dialogic's MSP 1010,” Glasspool said in a release. “Our market-leading operator services applications, including directory assistance and emergency services (999/911), are typically deployed in carrier environments where uptime is a critical concern both for customer satisfaction and for revenue protection."
 
Designed for large networks where high availability is a critical requirement, the MSP 1010 Multi-Services Platform is a flexible, high-density media resource platform with integrated signaling capabilities in a 1U modular design. The platform has been deployed worldwide as a service node, intelligent peripheral, application server, and as controlled gateways, in TDM, hybrid and IP networks. Dialogic claims the MSP 1010 -- with NEBS Level 3 compliance and the option of a redundant DC power supply -- is now even better suited for large networks where high availability is a critical requirement.
 
MSP system software release 10.2.3 also includes capabilities that can reduce cost to develop and deploy new value-added services. New SIP call control functions, for example, can be used to shorten the development time for SIP-based applications. The new release also enhances the controllability of CAS-based applications in a Channel Associated Signaling environment, by enabling the user to configure and control those applications via a GUI interface on the MSP.
