MedSolutions Earns Recognition from J.D. Power and Associates' Certified Call Center Program

According to a recent press release, MedSolutions has earned recognition from J.D. Power and Associates' Certified Call Center Program for the fourth consecutive year. The company's call center is one of only a handful in North America to be recognized for "An Outstanding Customer Service Experience."
The decision to recognize MedSulutions was prompted by a assessment of the satisfaction of payors, physicians and imaging providers who used MedSolutions' call center. In addition to auditing internal policies and procedures, J.D. Power and Associates measured customer ratings for courtesy, knowledge and concern for customer needs.
"We are honored to once again be recognized among an elite group of call centers," said Chris Crabtree, executive vice president of operations for MedSolutions, in a press release. "That we continue to be honored with this prestigious certification is a demonstration of the excellence and professionalism our employees exhibit every day."
Apart from providing management of medical services to commercial, Medicare, and state and managed Medicaid payors, MedSolutions also offer Premerus Diagnostic Accuracy®, the only comprehensive, proven solution to the problem of misdiagnosis. The company’s call center is staffed by physicians, nurses and other highly trained medical professionals.
"The medical professionals who work at our call centers consistently exhibit a level of professionalism and service that has become not only a hallmark of our organization, but a standard for our industry," said Curt Thorne, president and CEO of MedSolutions. "We are especially gratified by the consistently high satisfaction of the physicians and clinicians who seek our medical review of services."
The honor is the latest in a series of accolades for the company's call centers. In 2010, MedSolutions was a semi-finalist in the International Customer Management Institute's (ICMI) 2010 Global Call Center of the Year Awards.

In related news, MedSolutions recently became CIGNA's exclusive radiology benefits provider in the United States. CIGNA's MedSolutions program will begin to be introduced in various regions beginning mid-year 2011.
